About the Developer
Citeproof is built by Ethan Halfhide.
Ethan is a founder based in Richmond, Virginia, with about a decade of experience building software businesses. He is CEO of RevStreem, a growth firm that helps B2B companies get found in AI assistants and search through answer engine optimization, SEO, and paid ads. He also led Ambitious Labs, a large vibe-coding accelerator that helped more than 1,200 builders ship their apps. It was featured on the Shark Tank podcast, and many of its alumni went on to raise capital and build successful companies.
He built Citeproof because more people now write with AI, and made-up or mis-cited sources are one of the most common complaints about it.
